I am starting to wonder if the breakage I am
seeing with my proposed molmol package isn't in
fact due to the usage of Mesa glut in MacPorts.
Why exactly are we using Mesa glut instead of
freeglut (which I thought almost all linux distros
had standardized on)? I will try creating a
freeglut package for MacPorts and build molmol
against that to see if the missing interface
widgets suddenly appear.
