Don't forget to set up your Subversion autoprops so that you set svn:keywords 
and svn:eol-style on Portfiles to the proper values.

Based on the "bin" in the filename, and what I can see after extracting it, and 
the way the rest of the portfile is written, this is a precompiled binary. 
Looks like it's for x86_64 only too. So you should add the line 
"supported_archs x86_64" to the portfile, so that users of i386, ppc and ppc64 
Macs will be informed ahead of time that it won't work on their systems.

You needn't use "system" just to create symlinks. Just use the "ln" MacPorts 
Tcl command.
