At first glance it looks like the "standard" architectures (when looking at a target in Xcode) no longer includes ppc; however, manually adding it in there (as well as using "-arch ppc" with gcc) still builds for ppc as well. Seems more like a gentle push away from ppc instead of completely dropping it, so far...
