Images reside in ${prefix}/var/macports/software/ and archives previously lived
in ${prefix}/var/macports/packages/.Now that the images are themselves archives (instead of hardlinks for the installed files), should the packages location be moved as well? Do we want to follow the same structure, and include the trust model for signed archives? Will a computer generate its own key to sign its own archives? Are these all things we want to do?
