I'm writing on a portfile for reduce-algebra and the build doc indicates you need to be able to compile both CSL itself and the FOX toolkit on which it depends. The build doc notes that even if you have FOX available already on your computer the code uses a (slightly) customised version and your standard system-wide installation of FOX will not be used and should be irrelevant. What is the proper method to handle this in MacPorts? Use the conflicts keyword? Force it to use the fox port (if that's even possible)? BTW, reduce is using v. 2.1 of the FOX toolkit; the port is at 1.6.36.
