Hi Nicos, I've successfully upgraded last night the for me necessary ports: --- kde4-runtime 4.8.3_2 < 4.8.5_0 kdelibs4 4.8.3_3 < 4.8.5_0 kdepimlibs4 4.8.3_1 < 4.8.5_0 oxygen-icons 4.8.3_0 < 4.8.5_0 --- and also started the kdecache service: --- launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchAgents/org.macports.kdecache.plist --- THANKS SO MUCH for all your effort put into the KDE ports. I saw you did take care of many more related (meta)ports… Nice job! :) Yet, in my log file I do see the following entries: --- 10/26/12 7:05:21 AM org.macports.kdecache[84217] Dynamic session lookup supported but failed: launchd did not provide a socket path, verify that org.freedesktop.dbus-session.plist is loaded! 10/26/12 7:05:21 AM org.macports.kdecache[84217] kbuildsycoca4 running... --- I wonder where the 1st message is originating from… So, I am not 100% sure whether kbuildsycoca4 actually was properly run, although the 2nd entry seems to indicate that it actually was run...
