It looks like they stopped releasing separate source tarballs after 4.5.3. It would make sense to combine the ports (or delete qt4-x11 if nobody wants it). There is a commented-out x11 variant in qt4-mac. That doesn't really make sense given that the "-mac" part of the name refers to it using the native GUI. I agree that the combined port should be called qt4. If the libs installed with +x11 would be completely API and ABI compatible with those installed by qt4-mac now, then variants would be fine.
