incidentally, I've got subversion 1.8.0 working (and ready for a commit along with all of the bindings ports) but I don't want to break every MacPorts developer who is using svn - so unless I hear otherwise from everyone, I'll sit on it until either we get a MacPorts svn config update or we get a new serf (1.3?) that fixes this issue. -- Daniel J.
