Port names containing uppercase letters are fine. If that reflects the original 
software name most accurately, feel free to use that.

Years ago there was a MacPorts base bug that made ports whose names contain 
uppercase letters not uninstall properly if the user did not specify the case 
correctly on the command line, but that has been fixed for a very long time and 
is no longer a concern. More recently, binary packages would not be downloaded 
if the case did not match on the command line, but that's also been fixed for 
several MacPorts versions already.
