Why remove the sentence "Note that some ports will require a full Xcode 
installation, which is available for free on the Mac App Store", which is still 
correct?

The Software Updates function was already moved into the App Store as of 
Mavericks. Installation and updates of Xcode are already covered by other 
documentation and needn't be repeated here, I think.

Why add "IMPORTANT - Do Not Skip this step" to this step? Singling out this 
step gives the erroneous impression that other steps are not important and can 
be skipped. All steps are important.
