I have uncommitted changes in my working copy to update apache to 1.3.42, and some other changes. If I remember correctly, it was blocked on the port not building under recent OS X, but since that's been fixed, I should be able to commit it. Apache 1 is end of life; the port says so in its notes. But if it still works, I have no problem keeping the port around indefinitely, for people needing to use it for research purposes. Similarly, I plan to keep the php52 and php53 port families around indefinitely, because even though they are end of life, a developer may have written a web site with those versions of PHP and need to run it under those versions in order to update it to be compatible with newer versions of PHP. _______________________________________________ macports-dev mailing list [email protected] https://lists.macosforge.org/mailman/listinfo/macports-dev
