Are we still supporting Apache 1?
If yes, we should fix at least:
- apache
- mod_perl
- p5-libapreq
and maybe others (livecheck doesn't work, versions are outdated,
Apache 1.3.42 was released in 2010, mod_perl doesn't build at all,
...).
If not, we should delete at least all those port + possibly a few others.
I wanted to open a ticket, but I didn't know which action should be taken.
I have uncommitted changes in my working copy to update apache to 1.3.42, and
some other changes. If I remember correctly, it was blocked on the port not
building under recent OS X, but since that's been fixed, I should be able to
commit it.
In that case, may I please ask you to try to:
- try to update apache to the latest version
- test mod_perl and p5-libapreq; look into #46749 and #42582 and add
basic support for Perl 5.20
Thank you,
Mojca

I think mod_perl is a lost cause without a lot of TLC and is not
required for Apache 1, see https://trac.macports.org/ticket/46764.
