Build dependencies don't show up as normal dependencies, IIRC. I'd imagine
some port uses it at build time (and if you were to install from a prebuilt
archive, you would never see the dependency).
(Why would they do that? Likely because it makes for a smaller installable
package but the compression/decompression is too slow to happen in real
time, so they decompress during installation and only ever use the
decompressed files.)
