Well no, I don't. "Return receipt" to me means that the sender receives
automatic notification that their message was received by the recipient. Standard email
systems do not have this capability, so what are you suggesting?
Sending a Disposition-Notification-To: header. Which is labelled "Return
Receipt" in the UI for many MUAs.
Ah. I've never heard of that before.
Here I have an idea: how about making application letters public? If so
applicants can check if their letters are received or not easily.
Technically, two approaches come up to my head:
(I) Use a public mailing list. For example, Arch Linux developers use
the aur-general mailing list for such discussions [1]
(II) Use the bug tracker. For example, Mozilla uses its Bugzilla for
commit access requests [2]
