Is there any reason mysql5 port doesn't

I found mysql4 port has that one.

$ port cat mysql4 | grep extra
--enable-thread-safe-client --with-extra- charsets=complex \

might be better to have extra-charsets variants I think.

Any idea?

I concur that --with-extra-charsets should be used in mysql5. I noticed the deficiency myself several months ago but forgot to mention it.

--with-extra-charsets=complex added in r21028. Thanks!

James.
