It seems that you have an old version of libpng.
$ otool -L /opt/local/lib/libpng12.0.dylib
should give you this result
/opt/local/lib/libpng12.0.dylib:
/opt/local/lib/libpng12.0.dylib (compatibility version
17.0.0, current version 17.0.0)
...
Upgrading libpng should solve your issue.
