The machine I'm building it on shows that its CPU is persistently
running full throttle, something has happening but my guess is that
a process is hanging and it should not take over five hours to make
and install gcc41.
Last month it took me 6 hours to build gcc41 on a 1.5-GHz PowerBook
G4, so on a 1.0 GHz G4, you're going to have to wait a few hours longer.
