I have been trying to install Gnome on my Powerbook G4 (1.5GB RAM)
MacOS 10.4.10.
After resolving a redefine N_. I come to the next hurdle:
When it comes to installing filer-roller I get the following:

I have more than 5 GB free disk space. But, can anybody tell me what
and the hell
python is doing with over 1 GB of VM ???
How do I get around this?
