Odd, I don't see the py25-pil port listed anywhere.
I have 1.5, any reason I'm not seeing it? I'm trying "port list |
grep pil" and all I get for python is py-pil. "port info py25-pil"
doesn't return anything either.

Perhaps you're looking for the py25-pil port? The py-* ports are
for python24 and most have corresponding py25-* ports.
