I just finished a new install of GIMP version 2.2.14 via MacPorts.
When I issue command : gimp I get this message: GIMP could not initialize the graphical user interface. Make sure a proper setup for your display environment exists. In my .profile I do have the following added: export DISPLAY=:0.0 Any ideas why gimp will not start up?
