When upgrading outdated ports via PortAuthority I keep getting the

Apparently you still have ghostscript 8.54_0 installed, but inactive.
You could uninstall it.
$ sudo port uninstall ghostscript @8.54_0
also do I need to add something to MANPATH variable in order to see
the man pages various ports install? How do I do this?
My $MANPATH is empty and I see MacPorts manpages just fine. Do you?
