Yes.
You would want to sudo port upgrade,
not sudo port install, for ports that are already installed.
This was during an upgrade all.
Might help. Hard to know at this point.
Actually I took the error messages advice and force activated the three
packages that were problematic (couple of perl packages and goffice), that
seems to have resolved everything for now. Including gnome-vfs.
