All of these errors you're now seeing (make not found, gcc not found,
cc not found) point to a missing or improperly installed Xcode. These
commands would all be provided by the Xcode installation. What
version of Xcode did you install, nad what version of Mac OS X do you
have again?

installing a port through MacPorts won't fix this problem. /usr/
share/libtool/config.guess is a file that, as far as I have been

I think this is one of those cases where if in doubt install XCode
