So the problem here is with expat, not bison. And it says it
cannot find a compiler. Did you install Xcode? You need to. The
current version of Xcode is 3.0 for Leopard, 2.5 for Tiger or 1.5
for Panther. Please download and install the correct version from
http://developer.apple.com/
I've got Xcode 3 and 2.5 installed on leopard. Could that be the
problem?
I would expect that to be fine. (And if it's not, we need to fix
MacPorts so that it's fine.)
What does the config.log say? It'll be in the directory /opt/local/
var/macports/build/
