Dear macporters,
I am unable to get the following library, not in macports, to
compile on os x 10.5.2. : http://bebop.cs.berkeley.edu/oski
I have gfortran 4.2.1 from apple preview, gfortran 4.3 from
hpc.sourceforge.net, tried with updated automake and autoconf
from macports and last libtool (2.2).
I always get the same error:
Undefined symbols:
"_MAIN__", referenced from:
_main in fmain.o
Thanks for any help,
Boolegue.
That's not really the kind of thing we usually help with on this
list. You should really be contacting the developer of that software.
Is that the only error message you get? I have a feeling there
might be more output above or below that?
Have you tried using gfortran from the gcc42 or gcc43 port? Just
to try something different.
I contacted the developer, he doesn't know how to fix this.
I asked on fortran-dev apple mailing list but without any luck so far.
I haven't try yet building gfortran from macports, I am still
hoping for an easier solution. :-/
I tried making a portfile for oski using the gcc42 port which I
already had installed, and got the same error.
I filed a ticket with my in-progress portfile if anyone would like to
jump in and help here:
