I'm using OS X 10.4.11, Xcode 2.5, and Ports 1.600.

I'm also using Mac OS X 10.4.11, Xcode 2.5 and MacPorts 1.6 (but on
PowerPC). I'll try to build the port and see what happens.
I see the port is unmaintained and out of date. It's for 0.2.1 but
the current version (already over two years old) is 0.3.1. I filed a
ticket to update the port, and will try to do that later:
