If you delete that blank line, gnome-python-extras builds OK.
I know I should probably create a patchfile and/or file a ticket but
I am not familiar with the procedure yet. I hope that the maintainer
can work with the above info.
It was my fault suppressing the flag -export-symbols-regex.
The changeset 36627 should have solved it:
