Right, I didn't think I had added any variants so I didn't know why it needed X11, but I wasn't sure how to find out which variant I actually had. Thanks for the "installed" tip. $ port installed vim The following ports are currently installed: vim @7.2.065_0 (active) That means the default variant, right?
