Indeed, there should not be any directory "/lib". I wonder why qucs
is trying to look there.

Do you have anything in /usr/local? That can interfere too.
I just build qucs with no problem on Mac OS X 10.4.11 Intel with
Xcode 2.5 and MacPorts 1.7.1.
