OK. Threre no *fonts-cache-1 files in any of the places you mentioned below. And running "sudo fc-cache" didn't put any new ones in there. I did find a /Users/[user name]/.fonts-cache-1 file and a bunch of *.cache-2 files in /Users/[user name]/.fontconfig. Do I need to do anything with those files?
