errors building atlas

[Arden]

I have updated macports and then I ran upgrade outdated, fails with  
atlas. I see there is a bug filed #22379<http://trac.macports.org/ 
ticket/22379> and a possible patch? Not sure how to apply that one.
Any help is appreciated.
