Thanks Nicolas - but if Macports only has Soprano 2.2.1, how do I then
install 2.3.0 correctly?! Okay, I've just downloaded
"soprano-2.3.1.tar.bz2" from sourceforge and have it unzipped, then
there's a nice INSTALL file which tells me how to install it ...
providing I know what I'm doing to an extent. There's the problem. Where
should I make the build directory?! What are the correct arguments to
cmake?!

I figured out that this issue is related to different problems coming with the
upgrade of KDE to 4.3.3.
- First, Soprano is outdated with KDE 4.3.3. Macports has 2.2.1, and it should be upgraded to 2.3.0. Because of this, kdelibs4 package did not compile nepomuk.
- Second, you should be careful, since kdegraphics4 was still not upgraded to 4.3.3, contrarily to the other KDE packages.
- Third, if you compile kdelibs 4.3.3 with nepomuk (and so is the case you have
the proper version of soprano), kdebase4-runtime will not compile unless you
also install kdelibs4-experimental package.
I just finished testing that it compiles correctly with those improvements, so
that I did not file any tickets yet.
