Well, uninstalled, clean both transfig and xpm, installed transfig and
still xpm does not compile...

Indeed, one of the patches needed to be updated to look for the xpm
includes in ${prefix}/include/X11 rather than /usr/X11R6/include/X11.
Should be fixed now.
