I found http://trac.macports.org/ticket/21011 that is very similar and there is a patch offered:
1. download the files patch-plug-ins-twain-tw_mac.c.diff and Portfile-gimp2.diff 2. copy patch-plug-ins-twain-tw_mac.c.diff to the gimp2 port files diretory $ sudo cp ~/Downloads/patch-plug-ins-twain-tw_mac.c.diff /opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/ports/graphics/gimp2/files/ 3. patch the gimp2 profile $ cd /opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/ports/graphics/gimp2/ $ sudo patch -p0 < ~/Downloads/Portfile-gimp2.diff 4. rebuild gimp2 $ sudo port clean gimp2 $ sudo port install gimp2 I will try this today or tomorrow..
