Ports that can be built universal will be built universal. Ports that cannot be 
built universal and indicate that they cannot build universal will not build 
universal. wine, for example, already knows to build itself 32-bit even on 
64-bit Macs, provided the dependencies are already installed 32-bit or 
universal.
