I am looking for a pretty simple `./whatever image.jpg` and be done
with it.
I use exiftool (p5-image-exiftool) for this and it works well.
Although it bills itself as a set of perl functions for reading exif
data, it comes with a very good command, exiftool, which can do
anything I've ever wanted to do with EXIF data (and other image
meta-data).
