It's stored in a per-user location (~/Library/Preferences). If you do it as sudo, it changes the global one in /Library/Preferences; but if you already have a user preference file (and you do, because X11.app creates it) that won't affect your existing setting. - -- brandon s. allbery [linux, solaris, freebsd, perl] [email protected] system administrator [openafs, heimdal, too many hats] [email protected] electrical and computer engineering, carnegie mellon university KF8NH -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAkweM3sACgkQIn7hlCsL25Vk4wCghKH7XlvaHN4VznHll+5QLXzp 9AAAn03r/Uxwi+PSv9yGCvooHbyFEKtH =bNu6 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ macports-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.macosforge.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/macports-users
