You should respond to the list too, since then others can help provide an answer. In this case, I don't know, since I don't do it myself! Perhaps people don't build drag and drop apps with macports. Why do you need to? Generally I think the idea is to just install programs with macports, make sure /opt/local/bin is in your path, and run everything from the command line.
