The MacPorts Project is pleased to announce the immediate availability of a new mirror server generously provided by the University of Waterloo Computer Science Club. Once you "sudo port selfupdate", MacPorts will automatically select this mirror for downloading distfiles if it is determined to be the closest server to you. If you'd like to get your portfile definitions and base updates from there as well, you can edit your MacPorts configuration to do that too. More information is available in the wiki:
