Hi there, System: Mac OX 10.5.8 on MacBook Pro. Never installed py26-gtk before, need install now because it's gimp/gimp2's dependency.
I reported the error first to Trac at https://trac.macports.org/ticket/28616 I did as suggested (port upgrade py26-gtk didn't work apparently since has been installed yet): sudo port clean -f --all py26-gtk sudo port selfupdate sudo port install py26-gtk still got the following error: ---> Computing dependencies for py26-gtk ---> Fetching py26-gtk ---> Attempting to fetch pygtk-2.22.0.tar.bz2 from http://lil.fr.distfiles.macports.org/py26-gtk ---> Verifying checksum(s) for py26-gtk ---> Extracting py26-gtk ---> Configuring py26-gtk ---> Building py26-gtk Error: Target org.macports.build returned: shell command failed (see log for details) Log for py26-gtk is at: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_python_py26-gtk/main.log Error: Status 1 encountered during processing. To report a bug, see <http://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets> At the end of the above mentioned main.log, it indicates :info:build grep: /opt/local/lib/libpng12.la: No such file or directory :info:build /opt/local/bin/gsed: can't read /opt/local/lib/libpng12.la: No such file or directory :info:build libtool: link: `/opt/local/lib/libpng12.la' is not a valid libtool archive :info:build make[2]: *** [gtkunixprint.la] Error 1 :info:build make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 :info:build make: *** [all] Error 2 What exactly I might be missing here? Is there a way to manually apply the Portfile patches at e.g. https://trac.macports.org/changeset/75190?? (although it seems I've already got the right Portfile on my mac) Thanks!
