It should be the second checkbox.  Switching languages isn't going to work
very well without it, since these days multilingual X11 is done via Xkb,
which doesn't work on OSX.

XQuartz is the MacOSForge and MacPorts version of X11.app; it's kept more up
to date than the one that's part of Snow Leopard.
