hello,
I hope this is the right place to ask.

I'm in search for an iSCSI-Target daemon for mac osx 10.6.x or 10.7. to use it
in conjunction with virtualbox.

all I found was a a little description how-to compile an old version of
netbsd-iscsi-20080207
(http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1869065&tstart=0) which does
not work any longer.
I can compile without errors, but using the latest globalsan initiator throws a
lot of errors while trying to initialize/format the
LUN.

since I'm not a dev-guy, my poor attempts to compile an actual version of
netbsd-iscsi 20100416 & 20110222, or tgt-1.0.18
userspace-daemon failed miserably.

ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/distfiles/netbsd-iscsi-20100416.tar.gz
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/distfiles/netbsd-iscsi-20110222.tar.gz
http://stgt.sourceforge.net/

or maybe would be this a apropriate choice?
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/distfiles/istgt-20110223.tar.gz

could anyone please point me into the right direction or would it even be a
good idea, to add an iSCSI-target to macports?
iSCSI target is really missing on mac osx.

I can provide the compile error-logs if someone wants to see them.

TIA
chymian
