I've just raised a new ticket at macports on a problem building QT3 as part of installing gnucash. The pertinent part of the error log seems to be that when it's compiling the mutex code, there's a loss of precision when casting.
:info:build tools/qmutex_unix.cpp: In member function ‘virtual void QRecursiveMutexPrivate::unlock()’: :info:build tools/qmutex_unix.cpp:265: error: cast from ‘_opaque_pthread_t*’ to ‘int’ loses precision :info:build make[2]: *** [.obj/release-shared-mt/qmutex_unix.o] Error 1 :info:build make[1]: *** [sub-src] Error 2 :info:build make: *** [init] Error 2 That would seem to be a show-stopper to me, without more detailed knowledge of the architectures involved. I try to build all ports with +universal in variants.conf. I can't find a ticket on this subject. Regards, Andy -- Andrew Long andrew dot long at yahoo dot com
