You were right, bzip2 works just fine.
MacBook-Pro:~ alex$ which bzip2
/opt/local/bin/bzip2
MacBook-Pro:~ alex$ $(which bzip2)

MacBook-Pro:~ alex$ otool -L $(which bzip2)
