I just copied the Portfile for an older version of a port to a local directory, and did "port install" as root, only to find that the port was installed with a value of "destroot=." rather than "destroot=/". It put it in a tree starting at the directory with the portfile in it. Am I going to have to put the Portfile into "/" to get it to install in the right place? What's going on here?
