Asymptote can be fetched with tlmgr from within texlive 2011 if it is
not installed already.
All the asymptote TeX/LaTeX support files are already installed.
The issue is that TeXLive 2011 does not include the compiled binary --
it explicitly says so in installation instructions, where it gives the
commands to build it.
Do you mean to say that tlmgr can automate building the binary?
