        Nope, that's not normal. But there is a bug in MacPorts where it
        does not detect when, for example, decompression of a source
        tarball fails (if for example your bzip2 utility is faulty), and
        the error message it prints is more cryptic, like "no such file
        or directory". If you show us a main.log file from one of these
        failures maybe we can figure out what's happening.
