Hello James, The first hit on Google for "uninstall macports": http://guide.macports.org/chunked/installing.macports.uninstalling.html As for getting removed from the mailing list see the footer of every message: > _______________________________________________ > macports-users mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.macosforge.org/mailman/listinfo/macports-users And be aware that most mailing lists also put that information in the headers of every message. Not 'mac binary' but a Mac binary. This is an already compiled binary of an application that is ready to install. There is now a Mac OS native version of gimp that doesn't require X11 or XQuartz: http://www.gimp.org/downloads/ (MacBinary is an old file-transfer format.) -- Best Regards, Chris _______________________________________________ macports-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.macosforge.org/mailman/listinfo/macports-users
