Thanks, that fixed the issue. It was symlinked to gcc, which was
symlinked to gcc 4.7. Gimp is now building (well fetching archives atm).

Where is “gcc-4.2”? Type “which gcc-4.2” to find out. It appears that “gcc-4.2”
is a symlink to MacPorts gcc 4.7, which is definitely wrong and if so you
should delete that symlink.
