I've had imap access over SSL ("imaps", port 993) set up on my 10.6 system for
a very long time, using the ssl_pam variant of imap-uw.
I upgraded a clone of that set-up to 10.9.2, and find I cannot log in with that
protocol. I tried with the same and with a new certificate in
/System/Library/OpenSSL/certs but either way my password is rejected. The imap
entry in /etc/pam.d had not been changed by the OS upgrade procedure.
Is there anything that must be set up differently on 10.9 compared to 10.6?
